Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
  

  • lb Ground Beef
  • 16 oz. pkg Wide Egg Noodles
  • 1 small Onion coarsely chopped
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 pkg Baby Bella Mushrooms sliced
  • 16 oz. Sour Cream not fat free!
  • ¼ c. Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a 5 qt Dutch oven, lightly brown the ground beef. Drain most of the fat.
  • Add the chopped onion to the pot with the beef and continue cooking until onions are translucent.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking until they are done.
  • While the beef is cooking, cook the egg noodles according to pkg directions.
  • When done, drain and add to the beef mixture. Remove from heat.
  • Add the W. Sauce and sour cream. Stir to combine. Add S & P to taste.
  • Add more W. sauce to taste.

Notes

We had this often when the boys were growing up. It's a simple version that really doesn't take long to make.
